If former astronaut and U.S. senator John Glenn is ever asked for ID at one Ohio post office, he might just point to a sign. The postal facility in Cambridge is being renamed the John Herschel Glenn Jr. Post Office Building at a ceremony Monday. Glenn was born in Cambridge in 1921, though he's more closely associated with New Concord, 8 miles away in eastern Ohio, where he grew up and where the John and Annie Glenn museum is located. The federal legislation to rename the Cambridge post office was sponsored by Democratic Congressman Zack Space, who calls Glenn "a model of public service."
